Desolation Road Studios Open Mic: Hosted by Gail Sparlin… 4th Friday of Every Month 7:00-11:00pm

Come on in and participate.  You don’t have to sing or play but you can still come to listen and support local musicians!!  The Studios is much like playing in your living room, the acoustics are great and the atmosphere has good karma.  Bring your acoustic guitar, banjo, violin, cello, mandolin, dulcimer, harps or such for a night of acoustic music and great art. Random drawing determines order of players. BYOB… $3.00 Cover.Light pre-packaged munchies and drinks are available for a nominal donation.Percussion instruments such as djembe’s, cajones and bongos as well as various others are available for your use.We have a new addition that just arrived recently.  A nice little spinet piano which held its tune quite well during transport!!  Oh and we also have a few extra guitars such as a Stratocaster and a Martin which are available for use.   Spoken Word and Poetry are welcome too!!  Upcoming dates for the Open Mic are…1/27,2/24,3/23 and 4/27…just so you don’t have to whip out the calendar!!)
